Knowledge and Quality Management Unit
The Knowledge and Quality Management Unit drives continuous improvement through rigorous analysis of institutional activity. Its work optimizes processes, facilitates decision-making, and fosters an organizational culture based on evidence. In this way, it contributes to more efficient, transparent, and results-oriented management.
Functions and Processes of the Unit
- Define, update and implement internal management procedures, as well as maintain and control the documentation of the Quality Management System.
- Participate in the renewal of IdISBa's accreditation as a health research institute accredited by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII).
- Coordinate, collect and analyse the information required to comply with the ISCIII Technical Evaluation Guide for the Accreditation of Health Research Institutes.
- Coordinate, collect and analyse institutional indicators, the management dashboard, scientific activity indicators and innovation indicators.
- Participate in obtaining, monitoring and the continuous improvement of the European Commission's HR Excellence (HRS4R) accreditation.
- Support the design and implementation of IdISBa's Strategic Plan, as well as the monitoring of objectives and actions.
- Design and implement the IdISBa Quality Plan and Quality Policy.
- Support the drafting of IdISBa's scientific report and other technical knowledge‑transfer documents.
- Manage IdISBa's institutional mailbox for complaints, incidents and improvement suggestions.
- Design satisfaction surveys and collaborate in the dissemination of results.
- Support the integration of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into the Institute's management model.
- Manage the registration of the carbon footprint in the Balearic Carbon Footprint Registry.
