Scientific Management Unit

The Scientific Management Unit is essential to the coordination and strategic development of the Institute's research activity. Its work ensures strategic support for research groups, the quality of scientific processes, and the identification of new opportunities, contributing to the consolidation of rigorous, efficient research aligned with institutional objectives.

Functions and Responsibilities of the Unit

  • Support to the Scientific Directorate in the management and coordination of IdISBa's research areas.
  • Implementation and monitoring of the Scientific Plan, Integration Plan, Emerging Researchers Support Plan, and the IdISBa Nursing Plan.
  • Administrative and documentation management of the internal and external scientific committees, as well as follow‑up of their adopted agreements.
  • Support to research groups and research areas in preparation and monitoring research proposals.
  • Support to research groups in the definition, implementation, and monitoring of scientific action plans.
  • Review and monitoring of the Guide to Good Clinical Research Practices.
  • Preparation and management of intramural calls.
  • Management of certificates of membership in research groups.
  • Identification of external funding opportunities and support in preparing proposals.
  • Document management and monitoring of scientific activity indicators.
