IdISBa's mission is to foster the connection between the scientific community and the socioeconomic ecosystem of the Balearic Islands, promoting the valorization, transfer, and dissemination of knowledge generated in the field of biomedical research.
Its lines of action focus on identifying research results with application potential, protecting them through industrial and intellectual property rights, and transferring them to the productive sector, especially in healthcare. This includes promoting entrepreneurial initiatives such as spin-offs, formalizing license agreements, developing collaborative R&D&I projects, and implementing specialized training activities.
