The Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands (IdISBa) offers students the opportunity to undertake training internships aimed at gaining initial professional experience in the field of biomedical and health research. These internships allow students to develop their knowledge in a leading research centre as part of their academic training..
IdISBa maintains collaboration agreements with various Spanish universities, as well as with public and private institutions that offer Vocational Training programmes.
Through these agreements, the incorporation of students into research groups or scientific‑technical platforms is managed so they can complete the internship period required by the academic programmes of Bachelor's Degrees, Master's Degrees, and Vocational Training Cycles.
Priority is given to applications from students at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), as it is part of the founding agreement of IdISBa.
Curricular Internships for Vocational Training Cycles
With the aim of fostering research vocations among young people, IdISBa offers the possibility of completing curricular internships from Vocational Training Cycles within the Institute's Scientific‑Technical Platforms.
Curricular Internships for Bachelor's and/or Master's Degrees
IdISBa offers students interested in gaining initial exposure to biomedical and health research the opportunity to undertake curricular internships during the academic year or over the summer months, joining one of the Institute's research groups.
