IdISBa promotes and values the mobility of its research staff, both within the national territory and internationally, aimed at updating knowledge or learning new research techniques and methods.

Likewise, the Institute encourages and appreciates the incorporation of visiting researchers into its research groups to carry out scientific stays, considering them an essential tool to boost and strengthen scientific collaborations.

Intramural MOBILITAS Call

  • IdISBa annually launches the intramural mobility programme MOBILITAS, intended for short‑term stays in prestigious national and international centres, enabling access to new knowledge related to the researchers' scientific activity.

  • This call helps promote the mobility of IdISBa‑affiliated personnel and the creation of new collaborations and synergies.

Research Stays for External Researchers at IdISBa

  • IdISBa offers the possibility of undertaking research stays to researchers who are employed by an institution other than IdISBa (such as universities, research centres, health research institutes, etc.), as well as to students carrying out their doctoral thesis at institutions outside the IdISBa environment.

  • Researchers interested in completing a training stay at IdISBa must have the endorsement of an IdISBa researcher, who will act as their supervisor throughout the stay.

  • To learn about the next steps, this supervisor must contact the Training Unit (formacion.idisba@idisba.es), where they will receive the instructions and the application form for the "Stay Permit".

Specialised Health Training Rotations at IdISBa

  • To promote initiation in research activity, IdISBa offers professionals in Specialised Health Training in the Balearic Islands the opportunity to carry out a rotation in one of the Institute's research groups and/or scientific‑technical platforms.

  • Individuals wishing to participate in this initiative must contact the Teaching Unit of their hospital to arrange the corresponding rotation at the Institute.
