Thus, were a researcher to suspect that the principles of good scientific practices have been violated, they are encouraged to get in contact with the Ombudsperson.
By approaching the Ombudsperson, discretion on any information regarding a possible professional conflict is guaranteed. The Ombudsperson's actions are confidential, so they are not obligated to disclose such information to the managing bodies of the IdISBa.
